What marvelous news to hear that Lexa is one of the nominees to become the Bishop of Northwest Pennsylvania. It is a wonderful honor for her and for us at St. Margarets, as we have nurtured her along her spiritual journey. I pray that God will guide the Diocese of NW PA in choosing the right person to become their next Bishop. If that choice is Lexa they will have chosen a very thoughtful, creative, and kind spiritual leader. It will be a great gain for the Diocese of NW PA and a great loss for St. Margarets. However, it will signal the beginning of a new journey for the parish.

This announcements speaks very highly of the "caliber" of our Canon Lexa. It also speaks very highhly of our Parish. This is yet another example showing the visiblity of St. Margaret's in the wider Episcopal community.

What an honor for both Rector and St. Margaret's. God works in wondrous ways. Let us pray His will be done.
